It is the policy of Approved Equal Enterprises that accident prevention shall be considered of primary importance in all phases of operations and administration.
It is the intention of the company’s top management to provide safe and healthy working conditions and to establish and insist upon safe practices at all times by all employees.
The prevention of accidents is an objective affecting all levels of the organization and its activities. It is therefore, a basic requirement that each supervisor make the safety of employees an integral part of their regular management functions. It is equally the duty of each employee to accept and follow established safety regulations and procedures.
A Safety & Loss Control Program Manual has been prepared so that each Approved Equal employee will have a reference as to what is expected of him or her with regard to safe working practices on each jobsite and shop area. It must be clear that safety on each site and in each area is our highest priority.
The Safety & Loss Control Program Manual is further coordinated with three other company procedure manuals:
- The Hazard Communication Program Manual
- The Employee Handbook, and
- The Safety and Health Training Program Manual
Together, all three manuals make up the complete Approved Equal Safety & Loss Control Program.
The Safety & Loss Control Program Manual is available upon request by our customers.
All of Approved Equal Field Personnel are OSHA 10 certified, Forklift/Boomlift certified, CPR-AED First Aid certified and constantly receiving training in safety practices through the use of JSAs, safety meetings and classes.
